Zipuc was created as a free service to make posting long URLs easier, and may only be used for actual URLs. Using it for spamming or illegal purposes is forbidden and any such use will result in the Zipuc.com being disabled and you may be reported to all ISPs involved and to the proper governmental agencies. This service is provided without warranty of any kind.

Zipuc.com provide you a tool that will zip your long URL to a short one.

When you surf web pages, some webs are wonderful or interesting, you want to share it with your friends. But the URL is too long to remember. For example, http://www.harrypotterorderofthephoenix.com/, it is so long! But what about this: http://zipuc.com/harry? You can visit this URL instead of that long one to know lastest information about Harry Potter.

Once you register, you can manage your zipped URL anywhere, at your home, in your office, or in bars. You can add tag to your zipped URLs, so you can quickly find what you want, or change them.

You will find it is so easy to zip URLs, now let's go:

Step 1: copy the long URL to your clipboard;

Step 2: visit http://zipuc.com/.

Step 3: paste it to the input frame on zipuc.com.

Step 4: click ZIPUC button.

Step 5: you can see the zipped URL on the next page.

You can share the zipped URL or use it in a BBS. But if you are not a member of zipuc.com, you can't manage the zipped URL. A registered free member can manage URLs, you can visit them anytime, as your bookmark.

If you make a picture or images url short, you can use the short URL like this: <img src="http://zipuc.com/zipme">. If .jpg .gif etc. is needed, please add _zipuc.jpg at the end of the short URL.For example: <img src="http://zipuc.com/zipme_zipuc.jpg">.

If you are not a free member or you are not logged in, you can only get random zip str, such as http://zipuc.com/s6wm. Once you register a free member of zipuc and are logged in, you can assign a zip str and add tag to zipped URL, such as http://zipuc.com/kit.

Records of non-member will be deleted after a week. But records of free members will never be deleted.
